Hello all,
I’m Zach Gropper, a junior at Indiana University in beautiful Bloomington, IN. I’m from Flossmoor, IL…a small suburb not far south of Chicago, IL.
That’s me. In the middle. And yes, I am pointing at you.
At IU, I study sports broadcasting. It’s a relatively new major that teaches me tons about every aspect of the wonderful world of sports. I worked for IU Radio/TV Services, where I helped out on the crew for sports games and live in-studio shows.
This summer (2012) I’ll be interning for ESPN AM 1000 in downtown Chicago. I’m going to be working on programming for the Waddle & Silvy show. I can’t wait to get my hands dirty in the best business in the greatest city in the world–yeah, I said it.
I am a huge Hoosiers, Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, and Chicago Bulls fan. Oh, and the White Sox, but I figure the rest of the content on this blog filled ‘ya in on that one.
