Hello all, I’m Zach Gropper, a sports broadcasting major at Indiana University in the beautiful town of Bloomington, IN. I’m from Flossmoor, IL, a small suburb about a half an hour south of Chicago. At IU, I learn about all aspects of the wonderful world of sports from management, to media, to sociology. I truly love it.
I was the sports director for WHFH 88.5 FM Flossmoor my junior year of high school, and Television Station Manager of Viking Television in my senior year.
I worked for IU Radio/TV Services helping out on the crew for productions of sports games on campus and live in-studio shows for WTIU, Bloomington’s local PBS affiliate.
This upcoming summer, I’ll be interning for ESPN 1000 AM Chicago, working on programming for the Waddle and Silvy Show.
